the guest instructor at this year's Mid-America Summer Camp. The
camp will once again be held at scenic Camp Copneconic near Flint,
Michigan. You should register early as attendance is limited. All

Mid-America Third Annual Golf Outing
Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008
Mid-America's third annual golf outing will be held on Saturday,
Aug. 2, 2008, at Friendly Meadows Golf Course, 809 St. Route 125,
Hamersville, Ohio, starting at 11:25 AM. The cost is $75.00 per
person or $280.00 per four person team. The golf package includes
green fees, golf cart, lunch, door prize ticket, goody bag, dinner,
beer, and soft drinks.
The outing is a fundraiser to support the individuals who
compete in the ISKF National Tournament.

Need a Karate Uniform (Gi) or Belt?
If you are a club member that needs a karate uniform
(gi), belt or other training equipment, please send your order
request to gear@athenskarate.org.
The best way to figure out your size is to ask another club
member — someone approximately the same height and weight as you — who
already has a gi.
Pricing (as of 09/2005) is as follows:
• Children's Sizes ( 000, 00, 0, 1, 2),
lightweight 50/50 poly cotton, $15.00
• Preteen/Teen Sizes (3,4), medium weight,
$20.00
• Adult Sizes (any size up to 7), medium
heavy 100% cotton, $35.00
• All Belt Colors $4.00
• Other Gear Available (sparring mitts,
mouth protection, karate sports bags, etc)
